Arc Fault Protection

New residential wiring is now required by code to have Arc Fault Protection. Right now, this comes in the form of an AFCI (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupting) breaker that is installed in your electrical panel. These devices are designed to electrically sense when there is a dangerous arcing condition anywhere in the circuit.
